We tried to go away.....but the fact is.........like a festering boil in that spot where your thigh meets your ass........we DON'T WANNA go away......the mighty mighty TURTLENECK is again in rehearsals........old and new material is on the agenda.........a new recording is on the agenda........we've added a cool cat on guitar to get that extra creamy,chubby sound.........Furman Fowler of Augusta punk ass monkeys SICKSICKSICK has joined us and plans not to suck.........we'll give a report later..........oh and by the way TURTLENECK SUCKS.............now go buy a fucking t-shirt....... |

If we were a death metal band this would make more sense. Fuck it!----------> T-NECK TOOK THE CHAMPIONSHIP BELT LAST YEAR......BUT WE SUCKED ENOUGH FOR ONLY 3RD PLACE THIS YEAR... Somehow or another, TURTLENECK managed to win THE MASTERS MASSACRE for 2003...It was a battle of the bands including numerous Augusta bands and 2 groups from Atlanta...we don't know how it happened, but we'll take it....cheers folks!...... For 2004, we came in THIRD PLACE........congrats to the other bands that beat us.........and fuck you guys.......we hate you and we're going home......no seriously....congrats to KNOWFACE for winning and whatnot.....
DAMN!!!!....that's old ass news,aint it.....alright...here's new news....at the end of january, TURTLENECK was nominated in numerous categories for the LOKAL LOUDNESS choice awards....we came away with BEST NEW BAND for 2003 and FAVORITE SONG locally for 2003....on top of that Henry won best miscellaneous instrumentalist(skin flute) and Brian won favorite drummer.....we be rockin' it....yuh!!!!!!
This year(2005) at THE MASSACRE we plan to return the sandwich board advertising live exotic dancers that we stole from THE MARINE ROOM(a really awful toothless sorta strip club) in 2003.........after that, we're taking back our fucking title..............DUDE......... |
